Meeting between Minister Markovic and Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union

Minister Milan Marković and Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia Adriano Martins to meet with representatives of the established Minority National Councils

On the occasion of the anniversary of the first elections for National Councils of National Minorities held in accordance with the new Act on National Councils of National Minorities, the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government, in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, organises a working meeting with representatives of the established National Councils of National Minorities.

Activities of the established National Councils of National Minorities in the previous year will be discussed at the meeting.

This will also be an opportunity for the Minister of Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Milan Marković, and Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, Adriano Martins, to hand out computers procured under the IPA 2007 “Implementation of priorities in the area of human rights and protection of national minority groups in the Republic of Serbia” project to the representatives of National Councils.

The working meeting will take place on 6 June 2011 at 12:00, at the Palace of Serbia, Belgrade, Bulevar Mihaila Pupina 2 (Eastern entrance), Room 470.
