Ambassador Lloveras speaks at the presentation of ash disposal project in Obrenovac
The project at the Nikola Tesla Power Station B, worth 28 million euros and managed by EAR, is the biggest on-going EU funded project. It addresses environmental problems caused by ashed produced by coal burning.

Ambassador Lloveras, Swiss Ambassador Meier, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative Rizi and EAR Belgrade Head of Operations Gofas visit Municipal Development Projects in 4 municipalities in South West Serbia
The visit was an opportunity for the officials to see the implementation of development programmes valued at € 10 million aimed at improving the living conditions of citizens, as well as the improvement of small infrastructure facilities.

European integration brings tangible benefits to people's lives
"This project in Kostolac gives visible evidence to the fact that European integration is not a bureaucratic process but a process of reforms aimed at improving the daily lives of ordinary citizens. Serbia’s energy sector is moving forward to meet the challenges of improving its services to its citizens and its industry, of playing its full part in the regional energy market, and of meeting the European standards. This project at Kostolac is indeed a concrete and very important step forward towards achieving these goals. This project gives real 'value for money' in this direction because at a cost for the European taxpayers of € 5 million it brings a better environment to 100,000 people," Lloveras said.
